The Ton Stamps | Summer 2016 Release Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on The Ton Stamps Summer 2016 blog hop! You should have arrived here from Ruby's blog. ;) Today I have two cards to share that I created with the new products.

For my first card I used the new Haute Stacks stamp set to create a colourful, girly card featuring the awesome stack of books with one of the layered flowers sitting on top.

To create my card, I stamped the books onto a piece of white cardstock and coloured them in with various colours of Copic markers. I added some clear glitter on some of them and then I cut them out with my scissors.

I also stamped one of the layering flowers using similar pink ink colours to the Copic shades that I used on the books and then I cut it out with scissors and adhered it to the top if the stack of books.

I completed the card by adhering the books and flower to a white cardstock panel that I had matted with a piece of silver sparkle cardstock and then I added the whole panel to a light pink card base. I also added some clear sequins onto the card front with silver stickles in the center.

For my second card, I used the new Always Cherry Blossoms stamp set to create a heat embossed design with Copic colouring.

I stamped the image with Tuxedo Black ink and then I coloured it in with Copic markers. Once I had it all coloured I stamped directly over the image with Versamark ink and heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.

You can see how I created the card in the video below:
