Welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp/Kelly Purkey STAMPtember® Release Blog Hop!
All of the new Kelly Purkey product is available now in the Simon Says Stamp store and it. is. awesome!! ;)
There is new stamps, dies, flair, washi tape and of course, an amazing new project kit!!

We knew this release needed a party all on its own, so we've all created some projects showing all the yummy goodies in action.
I have two cards to share today that feature some of my favourites from the new release!

This card uses the some of the awesome new feather dies as well as a new stamp set called 'I Like You' (love this stamp set!) and some of the new washi tape!
To create the glittery feathers, I cut them both out of Be Creative tape that was adhered to a piece of cardstock and then added Glitter Ritz to both of them. The larger feather is Stardust Glitter Ritz and the smaller one is Silver Glitter Ritz.
To complete the card, I added some twine to the bottom of the feathers, added washi to the side of the card base and stamped the sentiment.
There is actually more to the sentiment stamp than what you see here, but I didn't want to use the whole stamp for this card, so I masked off the part I didn't want before I added the ink and stamped it.

Serenity Now

I love this sentiment stamp! Love it!
This stamp set is called Serenity Now and is an exclusive stamp set that can only be purchased in the October/November Project Kit, which is up for preorder now!! Yay!! ;)
And that flamingo die? Love that too!! ;)
I thought they would be cute paired together on a card, so I stamped the sentiment in two parts so I could leave a space for the flamingo's leg in between the two words.
I diecut the flamingo out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and coloured it with copic markers. Once I had it coloured, I went over the whole thing with my clear wink of stella marker and then added an eye with black enamel accents.
To finish off the card, I added some grey copic marker under his foot to create a shadow and added clear glitter to that a well.
I completed it with sequins and gemstones. ;)
