Welcome back for day three of the Clearly Besotted Stamps teasers!!
Today's card features a new stamp set called Modern Christmas. It has some really great sentiment and modern looking tree images and I just love it!
I decided to do an embossed resist technique for my card that lets the great stamps take center stage on my card.
Season's Greetings
For this card, I first created a masked off circle area and then stamped the word tree stamp twice with Versamark ink and then heat embossed them with white embossing powder.
Leaving the mask on, I used a foam ink blending tool and added peeled paint and festive berries distress inks in the circle area.
Since the trees were heat embossed, they resisted the ink. Once I was done the inking, I removed the mask revealing the inked circle area.
I completed the card by stamping the sentiment a little offset on the right side of the circle and added a few gems.
