Simon Says Stamp Die-Cember™ - Merry & Bright Card

To help celebrate Die-Cember, I have a holiday card to share today that features some non-holiday Simon Says Stamp dies.

I love love the Danville Wreath die that came out as part of the original Simon releases when they first started to design their own dies. It's a really great wreath because I find it so easy to adapt to any time of the year. And I love a product that I can get a lot of use out of, so this one is a perfect all-around die.

Since it's almost Christmas, I thought I'd share a card that I created with the wreath to celebrate the holiday season.

A little about the card...

• I cut two wreaths out of Neenah white cardstock and then coloured them both in with Copic markers.
• I stamped the sentiment in the center of a 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" piece of white cardstock and then heat embossed it with silver embossing powder
• I adhered both of the wreaths (layered on top of each other) to the white cardstock panel and then adhered that to a piece of Simon Says Stamp Olive cardstock, slightly larger to create a small border. That was adhered to a white 5" x 5" card base.
• I diecut a bow out of DCWV glitter paper with the Simon Says Stamp perfect bow die, and then adhered that to the bottom of the wreath.
• I completed the card by adding silver metallic enamel dots from Basic Grey and a silver Viva Decor paper pen. I then went over the flowers and the leaves with a clear wink of stella pen.
• Since this is a square 5" x 5" card, I created an envelope for it with my We R Memory Keepers envelope punch board.
