For the month of December, I will be guest designing over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge blog!! There are some great challenges this month and I can't wait to share all of cards that I've created.
For the challenge this week, we are using GelliArts printing plates and/or stencils to create a background on our cards.
I used a 6x6 printing plate and a Simon Says Stamp/Kelly Purkey stamp set called 'Let it Snow' to create my background.

To create my background, I put the Evergreen Bough distress paint onto my gelli plate and once I had it all smoothed on using a brayer, I stamped in the wet paint with a snowflake stamp from the 'Let It Snow' stamp set. When I pressed the paper onto the plate, it left the great background that I featured on my card.
I added some glittery diecut snowflakes and a banner with the stamped sentiment to complete the card. ;)
To take part in this week's challenge, just head on over to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge group blog here to get all the details and to submit your card! You can win a $50 GC to Simon Says Stamp just for taking part! Yay!! ;)
See you next week for the next challenge!!
