I hope everyone had a great weekend! We got a bunch of fresh snow here and are currently getting more. It's definitely a winter wonderland around here! ;)
Today I have a card to share that features a newer die from Simon Says Stamp called 'Big Thanks'.
This is what the die looks like when cut out:
But for the card I had in mind, I didn't want the big swirl that goes under the 'thanks', so I decided to just cut it off. ;)
I used my scissors to carefully shape the end of the 's' to make it slightly rounded so it didn't look like I had cut it.

I diecut the Thanks out of Neenah Solar White cardstock and coloured it with a Copic marker. I added my Clear Wink of Stella glitter marker over top and then covered the whole thing in glossy accents.
The background is stamped with the My Favorite Things Woodgrain background stamp and the little stars and pink strips were cut out of Neenah Solar White and coloured with Copics as well. I did add Wink of Stella to the stars, but not glossy accents.
And I don't know if anyone has noticed, but I am having a hard time making a card these days without using the 'Shallows' notecards or layering papers from Hero Arts. I LOVE this colour and it just seems to look good with everything. I admit it... I'm obsessed and completely overusing it. But, I can't stop. ;) ;)
One last thing before I go... a randomly drawn winner of the February card kit from Simon Says Stamp!
Congrats to Kimberly Rendino! Yay!!
