Today I have a couple of cards to share that feature the awesome Simon Says Stamp cardstock and inks! But before I get to the cards, I wanted to show you the full 14 colour selection currently available exclusively from SSS:
And to celebrate the 5 NEW colours that will be coming out on February 21st, Simon Says Stamp is letting me give away a full set of the current inks (all 14 colours!) and a rainbow pack of cardstock!! Woohoo! Full details for the giveaway are at the bottom of this post. ;)
So since we're giving away all this colour, I thought I would share a couple of cards that use the cardstock and ink in a fun way. And it is Valentine's Day, so I thought one of them should be all about love. ;) ;)

A little about the card:
A little about the card:
- I cut the out the Simon Says Stamp Mod Window die multiple times from Neenah Solar White cardstock and used a sponge dauber to add the colour to them. At first glance it might look like the blue and green on this card are coloured cardstock, but they're actually Sea Glass and Green Apple ink on white cardstock.
- I had four Mod Window diecuts in total. Two I left white and after popping all the inside pieces out, I glued them to cardstock so I could adhere the coloured pieces inside the open areas. Before I took the other two apart, I completely covered them with the green and blue inks with sponge daubers. Then I glued all the coloured inked pieces inside the white ones, changing up the pattern on each one.
- To make the design even more detailed, I took the leftover inked Mod Window pieces (the outside pieces) and adhered them directly on top of the ones I had already made. I just staggered them over a bit, so it created a fun design.
- To complete the card, I added the stamped sentiment strip directly over the border pieces, which covered up the seam where the two border pieces met on the card. I also added sparkle to the circles that are layered on the top and also added some sequins and gems.
Hopefully that makes sense lol!! If it doesn't, please let me know and I'll try to explain better. ;)

A little about the card:
- This card is a bright one, but I wanted to go bold and colourful!! I die cut the Simon Says Stamp Circle border die out of Neenah Solar White Cardstock and after 'popping' all of the little circles out, I adhered it to a piece or cardstock with adhesive on it, so I could put the coloured dots in.
- To do the coloured dots, I just diecut the Circle border die from all of the different pieces of cardstock and then adhered them into the white piece I had already diecut. And it actually didn't take as long as it looks lol!!
- I matted the finished piece onto a piece of black cardstock, adhered it to the card front and then added the sentiment stamp underneath. To finish it off I added some sparkle to each of the dots with a clear Wink of Stella glitter pen.
GIVEAWAY!!
