SSS March Card Kit with Giveaway!!

Hello!

The March Simon Says Stamp card kit was revealed on the 14th, and it is one of my new favourites!! It is full of fun, bright colours that scream summer and warmer weather!! Now if only mother nature would pay attention lol!! ;)

I have a couple of cards to share this week and I also have a giveaway on today's post to win this amazing kit! ;)

The first card I created uses the fun rainbow stencil and the sun/happy face image from the stamp set. This card can easily be recreated with the just the contents that come in the kit. I did use a cloud die, but you can just cut some clouds out freehand if you don't have a die that would work. ;)

I created the multi-coloured rainbow by adhering the stencil down onto the patterned paper so it wouldn't shift, and then I coloured in each section separately with a ZIG Glitter Pen. I LOVE these pens... not only do they give a really great sparkle, but the colours are really bright and intense. I really like how they look on the rainbow. I wish you could see all of the amazing glitter in the photos. 

I stamped the sun onto Neenah white cardstock with SSS Sunshine ink and then I stamped the happy face in the center. When you stamp the two together, there is a little white border between the face and sun image, because the face is slightly smaller than the inside of the sun. I coloured that area in with the yellow ZIG glitter pen that I used on the rainbow for a bit of contrast.
