Today I have a card to share that I created using the My Favorite Things Mod Borders Stamp set. I love this stamp set and haven't used it in awhile so I decided to get it out and make a card.
This set has some really great border stamps that can be stamped together in different patterns for a lot of different card design possibilities! I decided to use the arrow border and stamp it in both directions, with it meeting in the middle at the point of the end arrow.
I used three colours of Avery Elle Pigment ink (Aquamarine, Fog and Lemon Grass) and used the two brighter colours on either side of the grey. I have been obsessed with this colour combination lately - I just think they look so great together. ;)
I diecut 3 hearts out of white cardstock using the Simon Says Stamp Holiday Shapes die and covered them with the same inks that I used to stamp the borders. I adhered all of the hearts onto the card and then covered each of them with glossy accents.
The sentiment is from the My Favorite Things Simply Fabulous Sayings stamp set and I stamped it with black Versafine ink. To complete the card, I added some glitter to the finished sentiment and some of the arrows with a ZIG glitter pen.
You can see how I created the card in the video below:
