Today I have a birthday card to share that uses another great stamp set from Clearly Besotted Stamps called Make A Wish.
I generally don't like to make birthday cards - for some reason I find them hard to create and I struggle with the overall design of them. But I knew when I saw this stamp set that I would love creating with it and I was right! I have so many ideas for the balloons and presents and I can't wait to see what other fun designs I can come up with! ;)
Celebrate
(the little splotches of white on the balloons is actually a glittery shimmer from the Wink of Stella pen)
Supplies:

A little about the card:
- I stamped all of the balloons on white Neenah cardstock with Hero Arts shadow inks and hand cut them leaving a small white border around the edges. Once I had them cut out, I coloured on top of all of them with a clear Wink of Stella glitter marker.
- I layered all of my balloons with re-positionable adhesive first until I had them how I wanted them and then I adhered them permanently down. I added the top pink one with foam adhesive to give the card a little more dimension.
- I drew the balloon strings on with a black Copic Multi-liner pen and then added the stamped sentiment banner over top. The balloons are layered onto two different patterned papers from the new Chalk Studio paper pad from My Mind's Eye.
- I stamped with the Impression Obsession Circle Fusion 1 stamp on the pool card base with soft pool ink to make the card base a little more detailed.
