Hero Arts Inspiration Week - Day Three

Hey everyone!!
Welcome to day three of my Hero Arts inspiration week!

Today I decided to share a project that I created to show how Hero Arts stamps can be paired together to create great party ensembles. The projects I created include cupcake toppers (minus the cupcakes lol!!), a thank you card, and a decorated gift bag for party favours.
I kept all of the pieces similar by using the same papers, stamps, colours and design:

Shower Party Ensemble

Hero Arts/Sizzix 'Antique Flowers and Butterflies' Stamps and Dies
Hero Arts 'Fern and Hummingbird' Stamps and Dies
Hero Arts 'All Occasion Messages' Stamp Set
Hero Arts 'Essential Messages' Stamp Set
Hero Arts 'Friend Definition' Stamp
Hero Arts ' Woodgrain' Stamp
Hero Arts Cup O' Joe Shadow Ink
Other: Tsukineko Ink, Tim Holtz Rosette Die, Colorbox Ink, Fiskars Punch, Echo Park Patterned Papers, May Arts Twine

Once I had the general design and colours picked out, I went through my stamps and picked out the ones that would best illustrate a soft, feminine outdoor bridal shower theme. The butterflies paired with the leaves was exactly what I had in mind and they worked perfect with the yellows, browns and aquas. And the Hero Arts/Sizzix stamp die combos are so convenient for these types of projects because they're quick and easy! I created the card first and then did the remaining pieces using the card as inspiration.

I love taking the time to create projects like this when I am hosting showers and parties. I love the personal touch it adds and I love that I can customize everything to exactly what I want, in the colours and designs that I want.

Thanks for stopping by today and make sure to check back tomorrow for more Hero Arts inspiration.
Oh and we can't forget a giveaway. Leave a comment on this post (and every post this week) and I will randomly pick a winner at the end of the week for a Hero Arts stamp set of the winners choice!!! :-)

Steph :-)

  1. You nailed the soft colors. I need to try my hand at cupcake toppers, they are so cute!

  2. The butterflies are so beautiful! You really allowed them to shine on your projects! TFS!
