Guest Designer | Altenew

Hello! I am super excited to share a little sneak peek of a card I created for Altenew as a guest designer today! I love the Painted Butterflies stamp set and the artistic feel of them. They are so fun to create with and look great whether you line them up perfectly or not! ;)

I paired the coral and grey Altenew inks to create this simple but bold design. You can check out the full post here (and video) to see how I created my card.

Your Next Stamp | March Release Preview

Hello! I'm excited to be joining Your Next Stamp this month to help celebrate their March release! Today we're all sharing something we've created with the release and then we'll be blog hopping later tonight at 10pm est when the new release is officially available!

For my card today I wanted to share what I created with the new Magical Unicorn stamp set! I pretty much had to ink this one up and colour it as soon as I opened my package... I am totally on board with the unicorn and rainbow trend right now and this is definitely a favourite unicorn image! ;)

To create my card, I stamped the unicorn image onto white cardstock and coloured her in with Copic markers. I decided to make her super colourful so I coloured both her mane and tail with rainbow colours and I love how it turned out!

I used some cool grey markers to add some shading and detail to her body. I wanted her to appear white and the little touches of grey actually make her look white and gives her a bit of dimension so she doesn't look so flat.

Once I had her all coloured,  I used scissors to cut her out and then I set her aside to work on my background. To create the background, I added some Tumbled Glass Distress ink to a white cardstock panel and then I added some water droplets on top to give it a more textured look.

I also stamped some of the stars from the stamp set and heat embossed them with white embossing powder. I cut the panel out and adhered it onto a white scallop panel before adhering the whole thing to a grey card base.

I stamped the unicorn image in the center of the sky area (so I would still have the little mane and tail details that I lost when I cut it out) and then I adhered the coloured unicorn over top with liquid adhesive.

I completed the card by diecutting a cloud edge and stamping the sentiment directly on top with black ink. and I could create a colourful unicorn without sparkle so I added some clear Wink of Stella to her hair, hooves and unicorn.

Thanks so much for stopping by today for the new release preview! See you tonight for the hop! ;)

Clearly Besotted Teaser Time - Day Four!

Hello and welcome to the last day of the Clearly Besotted Stamps February sneak peeks on my blog! You can see the full reveal of products on the Clearly Besotted blog here.

For my last card, I am featuring stamps and dies from the Superstar set! There are so many great star images in this one - different sizes with lot's of different designs. I love the possibilities! ;)

Reach For The Stars

Supplies:

The two bigger stars are diecut out of the white cardstock, and then I added the smaller silver embossed stars in the center of them with foam adhesive. The whole white panel is adhered directly onto the Sea Glass card base.

I completed the simple design by adding the stamped sentiment as well as some additional stars and the circles and dots with some different colours.

Thanks so much for stopping by this week and sharing in the Clearly Besotted sneak peeks. And a huge thank you to Stephanie and the whole Clearly Besotted design team for having me along again this month!! Love sharing the excitement of the new releases and being amongst such awesome talent!

Clearly Besotted Teaser Time - Day Three!

Hello!

Today I have my third card to share as part of the Clearly Besotted Stamps February sneak peeks.

My card features the new 'Hoppy Easter' stamp set. It is such a great set for Easter cards with some cute bunnies and easter eggs that can be decorated however you want! Super fun! ;)

XOXO

Supplies:

To create the card, I stamped and coloured the bunny with Copic markers and cut him out and then I stamped the egg onto a piece of glitter paper and cut it out. To make it look like the bunny was holding it, I cut along his arm so there was a spot to tuck the egg in.

I stamped the 'xoxo' from the Clearly Besotted 'Clearly Sentimental' stamp set onto a Simon Says Stamp talk bubble diecut. I adhered the bunny's ears onto the talk bubble and then adhered the whole piece onto the card with foam adhesive.

The area under the bunny is a piece of teal metallic paper with vellum over top and then two squares adhered on top of that. I love all the layers under the bunny.

Make sure to head over the Clearly Besotted blog for some awesome cards from Stephanie and links to even more awesomeness from the design team!

See you tomorrow for the last day of sneak peeks!!

Steph ;)
