Merry Christmas from A Blog Named Hero!

Hello!

I am excited to be guesting today over on the A Blog Named Hero blog to help them celebrate their 'Dear Santa' event that is running from now until the end of November!

For my card I used the new Hero Arts World Ornament die, which I fell in love with as soon as I saw it! I just love how pretty and elegant it looks against a white card base. And there are so many fun and different ways to colour it, so it has a lot of possibilities for different card designs.

I stamped the world on Tim Holtz watercolor paper and then used Tim Holtz distress markers to colour it. To finish it off, I added some glitter with the Sakura Stardust glitter pen. I just traced it around the green earth areas so I didn't overwhelm it with glitter.

To complete the ornament, I added a bow cut from the Simon Says Stamp perfect bow die (I cut it out of American Crafts POW silver glitter paper) and added some wire to the top.

Merry Christmas

Supplies:

Oh and that sentiment was cut out from the Hero Arts Fancy Ribbon Merry stamp. I only wanted the banner part, so I just cut it out and adhered it on top of the ornament. And I LOVE how it looks! It almost looks like it's one stamp rather than two put together. ;)

Now make sure to head on over to the A Blog Named Hero blog to see what the other designers are creating for this fun event!! SO much inspiration for the upcoming holiday season! ;)
