Stitched with Love | MFT November Release Countdown

Hello! Today is the sixth day of the countdown to the November release from My Favorite Things! I have a card to share with you that I created with the new Stitched with Love stamp set and die-namics, as well as the new Pinking Edge Square Stax die-namics.

For my card, I cut out a heart from the Heart Stax die-namics and used the new Pinking Edge Square die-namics to cut the heart in half. I thought it would go perfectly with the sentiment that I wanted to use on the card from the new Stitched with Love stamp set.

I used Steel Grey dye ink to stamp the top and bottom rows of the sentiment and used Wild Cherry dye ink to stamp the word 'mend'. I love using more than one colour to stamp sentiments. ;)

When I adhered the heart onto the card front, I left a slight gap between the two parts so it appears broken to go with the sentiment. Then I adhered a needle that I cut with the Stitched with Love die-namics from Steel Grey cardstock, to the heart. For some fun detail and dimension, I added some string inside the needle and tucked it under the white card stock layer.

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 6 of the MFT New Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available tomorrow on the My Favorite Things website at 10pm EST. Yay!!

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for today's full product reveal, giveaways and links to lot's of amazing projects from the other MFT creative team designers! ;)

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun! ;)
