MFT Thanks Shaker Card

Hello! Today I'm over on the My Favorite Things blog sharing a shaker card that I created with one of the thanks words from the Many Thanks die-namics and vellum as the front of the shaker instead of acetate.

I diecut the word 'thanks' out of smooth white cardstock and adhered a piece of vellum to the back of it and then I stamped on the sentiment from the Thankful Thoughts stamp set. I added foam adhesive around the word on the back of the cardstock piece to create a space for my sequins to sit in. 

I added a bunch of sequins in orange, gold, purple, silver and yellow behind the word and then added a Steel Grey cardstock mat to the back to seal in the sequins.

I adhered the finished shaker piece onto a Tangy Orange card base that was stamped with the Romantic Script background stamp with Tangy Orange ink. To complete the card, I added some sequins to the card front and gold and silver stickles.
