Snowflake Thanks

Hello! Today I have another card to share that uses the January Simon Says Stamp card kit. The kit is sold out, but you can still get the awesome stamp set that came in the kit!

I decided to keep the colours very muted on this and mainly used grey and silver with a little pop of purple. I love how elegant and sparkly the silver and greys look together! ;)

I stamped the sentiment on the card using Versafine Onyx Black ink and then heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. Because the ink is a slow drying pigment ink, it allows time to add on the embossing powder. This is my favourite way to do black heat embossing... less mess and better results! ;)

I diecut two snowflakes from silver foil and silver glitter paper using the Simon Says Stamp Eliza and Melody snowflake dies. I layered them on top of one another and adhered them to the card with Multi Matte Medium from Ranger. This adhesive is super strong and dries completely matte.

I completed the card by adding a purple button to the center of the snowflakes and also added clear sequins and dots of silver Stickles.

You can watch the video below to see how I created the card:
