MFT February Release | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch!! All of the awesome products we've been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT store now! I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must have list! So fun! ;)

I have two cards to share tonight that feature the new Stitched Speech Bubble Edges Die-namics, which is this months 'free with $60' at the MFT online store!! I am in love with these dies and the awesome stitched detail they have on both sides of the cut line!

For my first card, I kept the focus on the speech bubble edges by cutting them out three times and piecing them all together so they looked like one continuous piece. I love the tone on tone of the two blue shades against the white.

Once I had all of the blue pieces cut out, I stamped a few different sentiments that I thought went well together from the Smile stamp set in each speech bubble. I completed it on the white with the word Smile - I love how it provides one continuous sentiment. ;)

Since the card is pretty simple and flat, I added the blue speech bubble part of the card with foam adhesive for some added dimension.

For my second card, I cut out a white cardstock panel with the Stitched Rectangle Stax die-namics and then cut it in half with one of the Stitched Speech Bubble Edges. I pieced the pieces back together and adhered them to a Steel Grey cardstock mat that was cut slightly larger.

Once I had the panel adhered to the card, I stamped and coloured one of the bunnies from the Somebunny stamp set and adhered it with foam adhesive under the speech bubble. I wanted it to look like the bunny was saying the sentiment. ;)

I used part of one of the sentiments from the Somebunny stamp set for the greeting. Since I didn't want to use the full sentiment, I cut off the part I didn't want so I could have it say what I wanted. I love how easy this is to do with clear stamps, and I can always re-use how it was intended by putting the pieces back together on my acrylic block.

Thanks so much for hanging out all week while we shared the newest products and projects! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the new stamps, dies and stencils! And the amazing new ink and card stock colours! ;)
