MFT March Release Countdown | Day 5

Hello and welcome to day 5 of the March release countdown for My Favorite Things! This months release is full of awesome images and sentiments for pet lovers, flower lovers and even TV lovers! ;) So looking forward to sharing the new products over the next five days!

I have two cards to share today, both using the new Blueprints 23 die-namics as well as the Scribble Circle Flowers stamp set and the Scribbles die-namics. All of these products will officially be available for purchase on Tuesday March 3rd at 10pm est. ;)

The first card I'm sharing uses the new Scribbles die-namics as well as the Circle Scribble Flowers stamp set. To create the card, I first stamped the solid flower images on my white cardstock panel and then added the stems and leaves. I then stamped the black outlines onto the leaves and added black lines to the stems with a black marker.

I diecut the Scribbles from black cardstock and adhered them directly on top of the stamped images. I then diecut the entire panel using the new Blueprints 23 die-namics and added it to a white card base with foam adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment (coming later this week!) onto a piece of black cardstock and heat embossed it with white embossing powder to make it really stand out against the black. I cut a banner edge on the left edge with my scissors and adhered it to the diecut panel.

I wanted my second card to look a little artsy, so I first diecut a panel from the Blueprints 23 and then stamped the scribble flowers with Coral Crush and Summer Splash ink.

I stamped over all of the flowers and leaves with the scribble outlines using black ink and then I added some clear shimmer glue over the top for a bit of dimension. I love how the ink ran a bit and made the flower outlines look messy and imperfect. ;)

I adhered the stamped panel onto a white card base and then added a thin strip of Steel Grey cardstock on both the top and bottom to help it stand out from the background. I stamped the sentiment underneath using the same stamp set as the first card, coming later this week!

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 5 of the MFT March Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website on March 3rd at 10pm EST!
