MFT March Release Countdown | Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things March release countdown! Today's product reveal includes some really great pet themed die-namics and a paw print stencil! ;)

For today's card I used the new Dog House die-namics and paired it with one of the dog images from the You Make My Tail Wag stamp set to create a fun and colourful card design. I love the stitched panel in the Blueprints 23 die-namics to create scenes... it's long enough to go from each edge of a card length wise and has the great stitching detail on each side. Works perfect! ;)

I cut the panel out of Sno Cone cardstock and then I added some stamping with the same colour ink using the Burlap background stamp. The tone on tone stamping adds a little detail to the sky so it looks a little more dimensional.

I then diecut the same panel from Sour Apple cardstock and Smooth White cardstock before cutting them out with the Stitched Speech Bubble Edges and the Stitched Snow Drifts die-namics. I adhered them all to the panel and stamped on the sentiment with black ink.

I cut out and assembled the dog house and adhered it onto my scene. I completed the card by stamping one of the puppy images onto white cardstock and colouring it in with Copic markers. I decided to fussy cut him rather than use scissors, so I wouldn't have the white edge around the image.

I adhered the dog house onto a second piece of red cardstock with foam adhesive for some dimension and to make it look like the inside of the dog house. I love that it looks like he's laying with his head hanging out, resting on the grass! ;)
