Create A Smile Stamps | Sending Sunshine Video Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Create a Smile stamps Sending Sunshine video blog hop. The exclusive Sending Sunshine kit is full of fun stuff to create a ton of cards. I love the variety of products that come in the kit and I had so much fun creating with it.

For my card, I used the adorable lobster image from the stamp set as my focal point and created a fun scene around him with the patterned papers and the enamel dots.

I love how the design on the aqua paper looks like water and I like the subtle colour of the aqua and grey papers together. I added a piece of vellum as well to tone down the paper even more so the lobster really stood out on the card.

I stamped the sentiment onto a white cardstock banner that I had diecut and adhered it directly on the vellum overlay. I added the lobster with foam adhesive and completed the card by adding some of the enamel dots above and below the lobster.

To see how I created my card, you can watch the video below:

  10. Love your card design. This little lobster is so cute and so is the sentiment. I have these spectrum noir markers but I was wondering what brand of white cardstock you used to ensure good blending. jeandonny2000 at hotmail dot com

  18. Well done Stephanie. I like the way you incorporated the aqua paper behind the vellum, it really does look like waves. Finishing off this adorable card by popping up the lobster and using enamel dots, brings it all together in a fun way.
