MFT June Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the My Favorite Things June release countdown! Today I have two cards to share the new products being revealed today, including an adorable new Pure Innocence stamp set and a great Lace Background stamp.

My first card uses the new Tutu Cute stamp set and coordinating die-namics to create a cute scene with the Pierced Heart die-namics. I love the Pure Innocence sets and this newest one is just as cute as the ones before it! ;)

I stamped the ballerina image on white cardstock, coloured her in with Copic markers and cut her out with the coordinating die. I then diecut a pierced heart from a white cardstock panel and added Bubblegum ink to it with a blending tool. I adhered it inside the negative heart space (so it was one dimensional) and then adhered the ballerina on top with foam adhesive.

I stamped the sentiment underneath her with black ink and added silver glitter to the band around her waist. To give her some added detail and dimension I added a bow to her hair that I tied with thin white ribbon from my stash.

For my second card I used the new Lace Background stamp and stamped it with black ink and clear heat embossed over the top so I could add ink to it.

I used three shades of coral inks (Peach Bellini, Coral Crush and Persimmon) and added them to the stamped panel with an ink blending tool. I started with the lightest ink first and then added the darker colours as I went. I love how great these inks blend together to create a seamless background.

I diecut a Zig Zag Stitched Square from the center of the background and adhered it back in the negative space with foam adhesive to add dimension. I cut out a smaller square from white cardstock, stamped a sentiment on it from the Written in Watercolor stamp set, matted it with black cardstock and adhered it onto the background square.

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 3 of the MFT June Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website on June 2nd at 10pm EST!
