Hello and welcome to day 5 of the My Favorite Things May release countdown!! I say it every month, but this month's release is so so awesome and definitely a new favourite! :) I can't wait to share all of the fun new products! ;)
For my card today I used the new Terrific Ties stamp set and the coordinating die-namics to create a masculine themed card. I love bow ties... I think they are an awesome fashion accessory and I actually own one! Learning how to tie a bow tie is one of my bucket list items lol! ;)
I stamped the striped bow tie stamp with Persimmon ink onto a piece of Persimmon cardstock and then I cut it out with the coordinating die. I love the tone on tone look and the orange-reddish colour is such a nice pop of colour! ;)
I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set with black ink onto the white cardstock panel (that was cut out with an awesome new die coming later this week) and adhered the bow tie above it with foam adhesive.
I layered the piece onto a piece of Persimmon cardstock and then adhered it to a Grout Gray card base that I stamped with the Diagonal Stripe background and heat embossed with Silver Pearl embossing ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by for day 5 of the MFT May Release
