Hello and welcome to Day 2 of the My Favorite Things June release countdown! Today's featured products are some of my favourites from the June release!
For my card today I used the new Count the Stars stamp set along with the new Stars & Wishes and Lucky Stars die-namics. I love the sentiments in this set and they look so great paired with the dies.
To create my card I first planned out where I wanted the diecut word (stars) and then I stamped the upper and lower sentiments with black ink. I used a ruler to keep the spacing the right size and make sure everything was straight.
Once I had the stamping done I diecut the word and stars out of the white panel and then cut them out a second time from dark and light silver glitter paper. I adhered the white panel to a piece of Sno Cone cardstock cut slightly larger and then inlayed the glitter pieces into the negative space.
To complete the card I added some clear sequins and silver stickles and then adhered the whole panel to a top-folding Grout Gray card base. I love the soft colours on this card... really helps the glittery silver to stand out.
Thanks so much for stopping by for day 2 of the MFT June Release
