MFT July Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of the My Favorite Things July release countdown! Today we're celebrating with some new Pure Innocence stamps set, a really cool Birthday Centerpieces Die-namics and my favourite product from this months release... Hip Clips and Creative Clips die-namics! ;)

Let's start today's post with the new Laina Lamb Hip Clips and Creative Clips die-namics. These are so fun for planner nerds like me but would also be great in card designs and general everyday life. Once I started making these, I could not stop! There are so many great combinations that you could create clips for hours and still come up with new ideas and colour combinations!

This is just a selection of some of the clips I made in my clip creating frenzy lol! I just grabbed my drawer of scrap cardstock pieces and went to work. I cut out a bunch of different pieces at a time and once I had a bunch to work with, I laid them all out and started designing the clips and adhering them together.

I am so excited to use these in my planners to mark pages, clip in notes and just make it look pretty! These would also be great to make as gifts for planner friends or to even send in a pocket letter!

My next project today is a card I created using the new Be Mime stamp set and die-namics. I love this adorable image and couldn't wait to colour it even though I knew it wouldn't have much colour lol!

I stamped the image onto white cardstock and coloured it in with Copic markers. I kept it the usual black and white that mime's are known for and added a tiny bit of skin colouring around the edge of her face to make it look like it's painted white. I love how it turned out! ;)

I used the Star Celebration stencil and added some Sour Apple green stars in the center area behind the mime image - I thought the card could use a little pop of colour. I stamped the sentiment directly underneath with black ink and then cut the whole piece out with a stitched rectangle die.

I adhered the panel onto a Grout Gray card base that I stamped and heat embossed with the Balloon Strings background stamp coming out later this week.

For my last card today, I used the new Birthday Centerpieces die-namics. This is a super fun die that makes creating a shaker card super quick and easy!

The die cuts out the stitched circle and all of the inside pieces so you're left with Happy Birthday going around in the stitched circle with open space all around it. You also get a bunch of little stars, circles and confetti shapes in a die so you can cut out as many as you want. That's what I did for the shaker pieces in this card using Blu Raspberry, Razzle Berry and Sour Apple ink.

To create the card, I adhered a piece of acetate behind the diecut circle, added foam tape to the back around the circle and added in my diecut shapes. I then added a Sno Cone cardstock piece behind it to seal all the shaker bits inside. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 3 of the MFT July Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website on July 7th at 10pm EST!
