MFT August 2015 Release - New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch!! All of the new products we've been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT store now! I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must have list! ;)

For the new product launch this month, I am featuring the new Interactive Window STAX die-namics. This is such a fun die set because there are so many great sizes in it and I love that the window is interactive and opens and closes.

I first cut the window from a piece of Neenah Solar White cardstock and then I cut around it with a Stitched Square STAX die. I also cut a piece of black cardstock for a mat around the window.

Before adhering the black piece on, I cut out a piece of watercolor paper small enough to fit behind the window and added some yellow and orange inks to it for a sky. I then stamped and coloured the bird and flowers from the Polynesian Paradise stamp set and a palm tree from the Tiki Party stamp set to create a scene inside the window.

Once I had the window all adhered I added a strip of patterned paper from the Dots and Stripes Neutral paper pad on the left side of a white top-folding card base and added a strip of black cardstock beside that.

I stamped the sentiment directly under the window and then I completed the card by adding a flower on the outside of the window and some clear sequins on the card front.

Did you know that you can download a set of free mini classes featuring products from this newest release?! You'll get a PDF download and video instruction for 5 different cards! Just visit the Resources section on the MFT blog here to download it! ;)

Here are a couple peeks at the card I created for this months class:
