MFT August Release Countdown | Day 2

Hello and welcome to day 2 of the My Favorite Things August release countdown. Today's card features another really fun stamp set that immediately takes you away to a tropical paradise.

To create my card, I stamped the tree and tiki hut onto white cardstock, coloured them in with Copic markers and then cut them out. I die cut a white panel with a stitched rectangle die and then cut the Peek-a-Boo Window from the center of it.

I inked up a second piece of white cardstock with blue on the top (sky) and brown (sand) on the bottom and adhered the tree and tiki hut on top. I made sure not to glue down the top of the leaves so I could make them stick out of the window opening.

I stamped the sentiment onto the white panel and then adhered it on over the little tropical scene that I created. I love the simplicity of this card. ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by for day 2 of the MFT August Release countdown! The new release products will officially be available on the My Favorite Things website on August 4th at 10pm EST!
