MFT October Release Countdown | Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown! Today we have a lot more holiday products to share that will definitely get you in the holiday spirit!

I have three cards to share today! For my first card I used the new Santa's Elves stamp set to create a simple one layer card. I love the adorable images in this set! ;)

I stamped my image with Black Licorice Hybrid ink and then used aqua and red copic markers to colour it in. I love the touch of non-traditional holiday colours with the traditional ones.

I stamped the sentiment directly under the image with black ink and then I diecut the stamped panel with a stitched rectangle die. I then matted it on a piece of red cardstock before adhering it to my card base. I completed the card with some clear sequins for a bit of dimension.

For my second card I used the new Fireplace die-namics to create a cute and cozy little holiday scene. I love the great detail in the fireplace die-namics! ;)

I added brick detail to a white cardstock panel with the Small Brick Wall stencil and Grout Gray ink and some Sno Cone ink at the bottom. I then diecut the fireplace from woodgrain cardstock and added grey cardstock behind it.

I diecut the rest of the pieces with white cardstock and then coloured them in with Copic markers. I love the dimension you get when you colour them because you can add shading and blend the colours. Just helps to make them look less flat.

I used the Wild Greenery die-namics and the present stamp from the Santa's Elves stamp set to create the decoration on the top of the fireplace. I added stockings and a sentiment underneath to complete my card.

For my last card today I used the new Candy Stripes Background Builder to create another simple, one layer card.

The 6x6 background stamp stamped the solid green lines and then I used the clear companion stamp to add the red striped lines in between. I love this stamp combo... such as awesome idea! ;)

Once I had all of the lines stamped to create my candy cane background, I trimmed the panel down and added silver glitter cardstock and adhered the whole thing onto a black card base.

I stamped a sentiment with black ink into the top using the new Hand Lettered Holiday stamp set (I love these sentiments!!!) and finished the card with a scattering of clear sequins.
