Hello! Today I have a card to share that I created with the new My Favourite Things Beautiful Blooms card kit! This is the first card kit that MFT has released and it includes everything you need to make a ton of beautiful cards including a stamp set, coordinating die-namics, patterned paper, ink, cardstock and sequins. And the best part... everything is perfectly coordinated together so all you have to do is create!
The kit officially releases tomorrow night at 10pm and you can find all the details about the kit and how it works on the MFT blog here.
For my card today I only used products that come in the kit. I trimmed down one of the green wood pattern papers, adhered it to a piece of white cardstock for a thin mat around the outside and then adhered it to a kraft card base.
I stamped a bunch of the leaves, stems and flowers directly onto the pattern paper piece with all 4 of the ink colours that come in the kit. I mixed the purples for the flowers, used the green for the stems and then added some additional flowers and dots with the blue ink.
Once I had all of the flowers and leaves stamped, I stamped the sentiment in a little area of the flowers that I kept blank. I used the dark purple ink with the 'hello' sentiment. I love how it blends in with the flowers and doesn't take away from them.
To complete the card, I added a few of the clear sequins from the kit scattered around the flowers.
Thanks so much for stopping by today. I'll be back tomorrow with some more cards to share from the new Beautiful Blooms card kit. Don't forget to head over to the MFT blog for all of the details on this fun new product from MFT!! ;)
So pretty Stephanie!
