MFT February Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the My Favorite Things February release countdown!

For today's card I used the new Lucky Us Pure Innocence stamp set and die-namics to create a scene on my card featuring a watercolour background. I love the greens and blues together and think they go perfectly with the girl image! ;)

I created the background scene first by adding various colours of blue and green watercolours to a piece of watercolour paper and then I set it aside to dry. While it was drying, I stamped, coloured and diecut my girl image. I used Copic markers to colour her and added some glitter to her boots and the horseshoe she's carrying.

I stamped the sentiment directly onto the watercolour paper once it was dry and then I adhered the girl on top. I finished the card by adding a scattering of sequins around the stamped design and adhering the panel to a Stone Gray top-folding card base.

Thank you for stopping by for Day 3 of the My Favorite Things February release countdown. The new release will officially be available on the MFT website on February 2, 2016 at 10pm est!

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the creative team created for this months release! ;)

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!
