MFT January Release Countdown | Day 4

Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things January Release countdown! Today I have three cards to share that use the adorable new Ewe are the Best stamp set and coordinating die-namics along with some of the other new products being released this month.

For my first card I used the Ewe are the Best stamp set paired with the 'Dream Big' sentiment from the Adorable Elephants stamp set to create a card that looks like counting sheep. ;)

I first created a watercolour background and then I diecut the watercolour panel with the new Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax and adhered it to a Grout Gray card base. I stamped the sheep onto Smooth White cardstock, coloured them in with Copic markers and then I diecut them with the coordinating dies.

I adhered the little fence first and then added the two sheep so it looks like they are jumping over it. I then stamped the sentiment directly on the watercolour background with Black Licorice dye ink.

For my second card I used the same stamp set and paired it with the new Stitched Cloud Edges die-namics and the new Sunny Skies die-namics to create a cute little scene in the sky. ;)

I created a layer of clouds at the bottom of a stitched rectangle panel that I watercoloured blue for the sky. I stamped the sentiment directly on the bottom cloud and then I tucked the stamped and coloured sheep in the clouds that I had diecut with the coordinating dies.

To complete the scene I diecut a sun using the new Sunny Skies die-namics (being revealed later this week) from Smooth White cardstock and coloured it in with Copic markers. This is a great way to add shading to a diecut and it really helped to emphasize the stitching on the sun. I finished the card with a little diecut red heart on the sun and some clear sequins scattered on the card front.

For my last card today I used the Ewe are the Best stamp set once again to create a farm scene on my card front. When I finished the card, I loved it without a sentiment so I decided to leave it off. ;)

I stamped a bunch of the images from the stamp set onto Smooth White cardstock and coloured them with Copic markers. I also cut out two pieces of white cardstock with the Stitched Snow Drifts die-namics and coloured them with some green Copics as well.

I layered all of the pieces onto a stitched rectangle panel that I diecut from one of the light blue chevron patterned papers to create a little scene. I love how cute the little trees look with the windmill. I just love these adorable little sheep images! ;)
