Round Here: MFT Release Replay

Hello and welcome to a fun new MFT feature for 2016, where the creative team re-visits the monthly release and creates a card or project with the new products. I love the January release and couldn't wait to dig back in and make another card. ;)

I decided to use the Ewe are the Best stamp set along with the Love You More stamp set to create a cute scene with a fun custom sentiment.

I first diecut the grass using the die from the coordinating Ewe are the Best die-namics, but instead of using the diecut piece, I actually used the negative piece to create a mask so I could sponge on the green ink with an ink blending tool. Once I was happy with the grass I added some light blue ink above the grass for the sky area.

I stamped, coloured and diecut the sheep and the flower and then I adhered them directly into the grass area and added some clear Wink of Stella to both the flower and the heart.

I decided to have a little fun with the sentiment and use the 'All of Me Loves all of You' sentiment but instead of using it as is, I changed out the word 'you' at the end and replaced it with the word 'ewe' from the sheep stamp set. I thought it was super fun and made my little guy laugh - he loves punny sentiments lol!

I diecut the stamped panel with a Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax die and adhered it to a black cardstock mat. I then added the entire panel to a Grout Gray card base and stamped on a few pink hearts from the So Much Love stamp set.
