MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #265

Hello! Today I have a card to share for this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday sketch challenge. I love the creative push a sketch gives me by taking out the guess work and giving me a foundation to  to start with for my card design.

I love the girl image from the Green Pastures stamp set and decided to use the layers in the sketch to create a scene for her to stand.

I created the base of my scene by diecutting a Stitched Rectangle Frame from the center of a white cardstock panel and using that as the foundation for my scene. I replaced the center area with a piece of blue chevron patterned paper and two strips of green (for the grass) that I trimmed down with the Stitched Snow Drifts die-namics.

I coloured in the girl with Copic markers, diecut her with the coordinating die and then I added her to my scene. I slightly tucked her feet in between the two layers of grass to make it look a little more dimensional and then I stamped the sentiment directly on the grass area.

To finish the card I added a few sequins for a bit of detail and dimension since the card is relatively flat.

Make sure to visit the MFT Challenge blog to take part in this weeks sketch challenge for a chance to win a GC to the MFT online store. ;)
