MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge #268

Hello! Today I have a card to share for this weeks My Favorite Things Wednesday sketch challenge. I love the creative push a sketch gives me by taking out the guess work and giving me a foundation to  to start with for my card design.

I love the simplicity of this week's sketch and I thought the design worked perfectly with the chef images from the Recipe for Happiness stamp set and die-namics.

I changed up the sketch a bit and added a smaller panel matted onto red cardstock onto a Grout Gray card base. I wanted to make the red in the coloured image pop and I think the red cardstock mat helped to do that.

I added a piece of grey chevron patterned paper to the top of the cardstock panel and then used the stripe in the sketch as a place for my pots to sit in the design.

I cut the sentiment in half and then stamped it in the space underneath the pots and adhered the stamped and coloured chef beside it with foam adhesive in place of the rectangle shape in the sketch.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure to visit the MFT Challenge blog to take part in this weeks sketch challenge for a chance to win a GC to the MFT online store. ;)
