MFT March Release | New Product Launch

Hello and welcome to the My Favorite Things new product launch!! All of the new products we've been sharing all week are officially available in the MFT store now! I can't wait to see what's on everyone's must have list! ;)

For the new product launch this month, I am featuring the new Stitched Square Scallop Frames and the Geometric Grid background stamp. I decided to pair them with my favourite product from this release... Sweet Succulents. ;)

To create my card, I diecut the Stitched Square Scallop Frame from a white cardstock panel and then I stamped the center piece with the Geometric Grid background stamp and Cement Gray ink. I love adding subtle detail behind my main image with a stamp or stencil and grey ink. The Geometric Grid worked perfect for this card design and was a great contrast from the scallops around the edge.

I adhered the center piece back into the frame onto a Summer Splash cardstock panel cut lightly larger than the white piece and then added the whole thing to a top-folding Grout Gray card base.

I stamped all of the succulents onto Smooth White cardstock with Black Licorice Hybrid ink, coloured them in with Copic markers and cut them out.

I adhered them all onto the stamped panel with regular adhesive and foam adhesive and then I stamped the sentiment on the bottom right corner with Black Licorice Dye ink. I added a bit of sparkle to the bottom areas of the plants, some shading underneath for shadows and scattered some clear sequins for a bit more dimension and detail.

Thanks so much for hanging out all week while we shared the newest products and projects! I can't wait to see what everyone creates with the new products!! ;)
