Round Here: MFT Release Replay

Hello and welcome to a fun MFT feature, where the creative team re-visits the monthly release and creates a card or project with the new products. I love the March release and couldn't wait to use the new products to make another card. ;)

For my card I used the new Cheerful Cages die-namics and the Tweet Friends stamp set to create a colourful and sparkly card.

To create my card, I used the Stitched Cloud Edges to diecut some masks from masking paper and then I used them to add blue, mint and pink inks to create a colourful, layered cloud look. I then cut out a section of the clouds with the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle Stax dies and adhered it to a white rectangle panel.

I diecut another white cardstock panel with the Blueprints 27 scallop rectangle die and I adhered it to a Stone Gray top-folding card base and then I adhered the smaller rectangle panel on top.

I diecut a bird cage from silver glitter cardstock and layered it over one that I cut from black cardstock for a bit of a shadow effect. I added string in the top and adhered the cage onto the circle of clouds. I then stamped, coloured and diecut a bird and adhered it to the bird cage with foam adhesive.

I completed the card by adding some clear sequins scattered around the bird cage and stamping and cutting out a sentiment from the Label Maker Sentiment stamp set.
