MFT Release Replay | April 2016

Hello and welcome to a fun MFT feature, where the creative team re-visits the monthly release and creates a card or project with the new products. I love the April release and couldn't wait to use the new products to make another card. ;)

For my card I used the new Blueprints 28 die-namics along with the Lucky Dog and I'm Tweet on You stamp sets to create a cute gift card holder.
To create my card I cut out the panel using the Blueprints 28 die from white cardstock and added some light blue inking to the edges to soften it up a bit. I stamped the grass in the center area of the flap and stamped the sentiment directly underneath.

I stamped the dog and birdbath images on a separate piece of white cardstock with Black Licorice Hybid ink, coloured them in with Copic markers and then I used my scissors to cut them out.

I adhered the images onto the front of the panel making it look like the dog was peeking over the side of the birdbath. I love how great these adorable images go together! ;)

Once I had the scene assembled on the front, I adhered the panel to a Grout Gray card base and then I adhered a gift card underneath the flap. This area is the perfect size for a regular size gift card.

Once I had the gift card adhered, I stamped the rest of the sentiment directly underneath with black ink to complete the card.

Make sure to head over to the MFT blog to see what the rest of the creative team created for this months Release Replay. ;)
