MFT WSC295

Hello and welcome to this week's Wednesday sketch challenge. I love having the MFT sketches as a starting point for my cards... it takes all of the guess work out of the design and let's you just create.

For my card this week, I used the sketch to create a coffee themed card with a two part sentiment... the first part on the top banner area and the second part on the coffee cup.
I diecut the background panel using a scallop edge rectangle die and then I used the Distressed Patterns stamp set to stamp some splatters on the background with Grout Gray ink. I diecut and coloured the cup and adhered it over the stamping.

I diecut a stitched banner from white cardstock and stamped the 'sending' part of the sentiment using the Essential Sentiments stamp set. I completed the card by adding some red diecut hearts around the banner on the top part of the card.

Make sure to head over to the MFT Challenge blog to see more cards created with this months sketch and to participate for a chance to win a GC to the MFT online store! ;)
