Hello and welcome to my stop on the Sunny Studio birthday blog hop! I love love love Sunny Studio stamps and the super sweet owner Mendi! I am thrilled and honoured that she asked me to be a part of her birthday celebration! ;)
You should have arrived here from Anni's blog. ;)
For my card, I used the new Halloween Cuties stamp set along with the Happy Home stamp set to create a cute trick or treating scene. ;)
I stamped all the images onto white cardstock and coloured them all in with Copic markers. I then cut them out with scissors and set them aside while I created my scene.
To create my scene, I used Distress inks with watercolour cardstock and added blues to the sky area to make it look like night and greys to the ground pieces. I also cut out a piece of smooth cardstock to look like a sidewalk and adhered it where the house would sit.
I adhered the house, moon and bat in the back area of the scene and added the cute Halloween critters close to the bottom of the card to make it look like the house was in the distance behind them.
I decided to not add a stamped sentiment but instead use the cute trick or treat bag for the sentiment on the card. I cut a tiny slit under the critters hand so I could slide the treat bag underneath and make it look like he was holding it. ;)

ReplyDeleteHi Stephanie ~ Your card is absolutely precious and incredibly clever. You're right, it didn't need an additional sentiment with that little fella holding his Halloween treat bag. You can never (EVER) go wrong with a Distress-Inked B/G and your is fabulous. It's great how you combined the two sets to create one awesome card. Thanks so much for your inspiration and for helping Mendi with Sunny Studio's 1st Birthday Celebration. Have a wonderful weekend. ~HUGS~
