MFT November Release Countdown | Day 3

Hello and welcome to Day 3 of the My Favorite Things November release countdown! For the next five days we're counting down to the November release and sharing cards and projects using all of the new stamps and die-namics.

For today's card I used the new Roses in Bloom die-namics along with the new Deepest Sympathy stamp set to create a clean and simple sympathy card. These are always the hardest types of card to create, but this stamp set has the perfect sentiments to create both religious and non-religious card designs.
I first die cut a stitched rectangle panel from white card stock and softly added Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers distress ink to the center area. I added red and green distress inks to a separate card stock panel and then I die cut the roses and stems from the inked card stock.

I stamped the sentiment with Black Licorice dye ink directly onto the inked panel and then I adhered the rose pieces to the left side.

I completed the card by adding some clear sequins around the flower and then I adhered the panel to a top-folding, Grout Gray card base.

Thanks so much for joining me for day 3 of the MFT November release countdown! All of the new products that we're sharing this week will officially be available in the MFT online store at 10pm EST on November 1, 2016.

Make sure to visit the MFT blog all this week for more inspiration from the design team using the new products, and a chance to win the release countdown giveaways!

See you tomorrow for more countdown fun!
