MFT October Release Countdown | Day 1

Hello and welcome to day 1 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. For the next 5 days, we're counting down to the October release, sharing cards and ideas using the new products. 

For today's card I used the newest Pure Innocence girl from the Milk & Cookies stamp set, and changed up the image a bit to make it work for my card design. I decided to cover up the cookie she was holding and add a present to her hands so I could make it a holiday card.

I paired a stamped sentiment from the Merry Everything stamp set with the die cut word 'wishes' from the new Cause for Celebration Die-namics to add the sentiment directly under the image. I diecut the word from white cardstock and used Copic markers to colour it with an ombre look.

I used the Moroccan Lattice stencil to add some light blue detail behind the focal image and then I adhered to girl in the chair on top with foam adhesive. I finished the card with some clear sequins and some clear glitter on the girls dress. ;)
