Hello and welcome to day 4 of the My Favorite Things October release countdown. For the next 5 days, we're counting down to
the October release, sharing cards and ideas using the new products.
For my card today I used the new Stitched Rectangle Scallop Edge Frames die-namics with the new Deer Friends stamp set (coming soon!) to create a sweet winter scene.
I die cut the frame 5 times from white cardstock and adhered the framse onto a Cactus card base, one on top of another to give it some dimension. I used one of the center panels to create the sky area and I used another to create the snow hills using the Stitched Snowdrifts die-namics.
I stamped, coloured and diecut the reindeer and three of the trees and adhered them to the scene and then I added the sentiment onto the bottom snow hill with Black Licorice dye ink. I used a white gel pen to add snow detail on teh tops of the leaves and I added some grey dot detail withe a Copic marker to make it look like the deer was eating from the ground.
Thanks so much for joining me for day 4 of the October release countdown.
All of the new products that we're sharing all week will officially be
available in the MFT online store at 10pm EST on October 4, 2016.
Make sure to head over to the MFT blog for more ideas from the creative team and giveaways! ;)
