Guest Designing with Concord & 9th | Be Mine

Hello! I am so excited to share that I am guest designing with Concord & 9th this month and today I'm sharing my first card! I love Concord & 9th products... they are so innovative and fun and they are awesome to create with.

For my card today, I used the new Heartstrings dies to create a shaker card perfect for loved ones in your life! ;)

I first added Picked Raspberry Distress ink to a white cardstock panel cut from Bristol cardstock and then I diecut the Heartstrings die directly over top. I love that the die cuts all of the 'rays' of the heart but doesn't actually cut out the whole heart shape.

I then adhered a piece of acetate behind the heart so I could create a window and turn the heart into a shaker. I added foam adhesive behind the panel, concentrating it around the heart and filled it with rose gold sequins before adhering a second white panel behind to seal everything in.

Once I had the shaker part created, I added a strip of black and white patterned paper to the right side of a top-folding card base and then I adhered the shaker panel on top. I added a stip of gold glitter cardstock down the side and a fold glitter heart to the center of the large shaker heart.

I completed the card by adding some additional sequins on the outside of the heart and by stamping a the 'Be Mine' sentiment from the Heart Smile stamp set onto a white piece of cardstock that I trimmed down and adhered under the heart.

Thanks so much for joining me today! I'll be back soon with another card featuring Concord & 9th!
