Hello and welcome to my stop on the Altenew blog hop featuring their new Artist Markers! You should have arrived here from Marika's blog.
Here's a little bit about the markers from Altenew:
Altenew Artist Markers are alcohol-based, allowing you to beautifully blend colors to any stamped images. Our various range of stamps is perfect for these markers. You can also easily pair them with our Crisp Dye Inks to take your coloring to the next level! The colors in this set are designed to be as close as possible to our existing ink colors, so you can take the color guessing game out of the way when coloring.
For my card I used the Altenew Tulip stamp set so I could use the markers to colour in the beautiful flower images.
I used every colour that comes in this first set (except the black) to colour in my flowers. They blend beautifully together and the colours are so vibrant and beautiful!
Once I had all of the flowers coloured, I stamped a sentiment onto a white cardstock banner and adhered it onto the bottom area of the panel. I then added the finished panel to a top folding grey card base. I love the pop of colour from the flowers on the grey card base.
You can see how I created my card in the video below:

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful! I wasn't a huge fan of this stamp set originally, but it is a must-have with your additional coloring! Wonderful card!!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I love tulips! I have a foam tulip stamp and a pot of tulips wooden stamp. We used to have tulips planted at our house. The people who owned our house loved flowers. The wife belonged to a garden club so we had some beautiful flowers. Over the years and many mutant ninja squirrels later and we don't have any anymore. They dig up all of my flowers even if they aren't grown yet and stuff in my veggie garden. I love your tulips and I know by looking at the card that they will last forever, not bothered by any ninja squirrels. I hope whoever gets this card enjoys it as much as I did!
