More SSS September Cards

Hey there!

I have 2 more cards to share that I created with the September Simon Says Stamp card kit.
After the first one I created (you can see it here) which was super bright, I decided to make a couple of cards with the fun colours and patterns in the kit.

I Heard You're Amazing...

For this card, I used the chevron patterned papers that came in the kit and cut out some strips of the pattern. I cut out a 2 chevron wide strip from the blue and orange and a 1 chevron wide strip form the green. I then glued them all side by side on the kraft paper, leaving a little gap in between each to let the kraft show through. To complete the card, I stamped on a diecut banner and added some twine and a wooden 'potty person.'

Thinking of You

For this card, I used the My Favorite Things hexagon die and cut out a strip of hexagons from the blue patterned paper. I then used the same die and cut along the edge of two more pieces of patterned paper. I fit them together and glued them onto a green piece of cardstock. I left some space between them so the green could show through.
For my sentiment, I cut apart the 'Thinking of You Makes Me Happy' stamp, so I could just use the 'Thinking of You.' I then embossed it with white embossing powder.
