February Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Special Day

Hey everyone!

Today I have another card to share using the February Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Style of Love.

I really like the papers and the stamps in this set for wedding themed cards and wanted to use one of the dresses in the stamp set as a wedding gown. To make it even more elegant looking, I first stamped the dress on one of the more muted patterned papers and then cut it out.
Then I stamped the dress for a second time on one of the doilies in the kit to make the dress look like it was completely made out of lace. I adhered it to the top of the patterned paper dress to give it support (since the doily is pretty flimsy) and so a little bit of the pink would show through.
To finish it off, I added some pearls to the waistline for a little added something.

I really wanted the dress to be the focal point of the card, so I kept it really simple and used mainly white cardstock. I added scoring lines to the middle cardstock piece to add some texture but still keep it simple. And then I just stamped stamped the sentiment directly on the card.
