Simon Says Stamp August 2013 Card Kit Blog Hop!

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Simon Says Stamp August 2013 Card Kit Blog Hop!!
You should have arrived here from the blog of the amazingly talented Kathy Racoosin -  aren't her cards a-mazing!!?! ;) ;)

Here's a look at this month's kit:

It's so bright and fun and has so many great things to get those creative juices flowing!!
And this month is even more exciting because Simon is introducing some fun new exclusive product: badges, a stencil and an amazing stamp set! ;)

For my card, I decided to get inky and use the stencil in the kit to create a fun, multi-layered inked background. I also used some of the exclusive Simon Says Stamp dies (tilted banner and large hearts) to compliment the kit and add some fun detail to my card design.

You Make My Heart Happy

 Supplies:

You can see how I created this card in the video below:

I decided that the card needed a little extra embellishing, so I added the pink heart and gems after the video was filmed.

This kit is available for purchase here and to ensure that you don't miss out on future kits, you can sign up for a subscription here for only $19.95 per month!! This will ensure that you always get the kit each month and at a cheaper price!! ;)
