Kelly Purkey Cards

Hello and Happy Sunday!!

Today I have a couple of cards to share that I created with the October/November Kelly Purkey Project Kit. Unfortunately this kit is no longer available (they sell out pretty quickly so make sure to grab them when the pre-orders go up every other month) but I still wanted to share the cards I created with it.

The first one uses the great calendar stamp from the exclusive stamp set that comes in the kit. As soon as I saw it, I was immediately drawn to the time area in the center and knew that I wanted to create a baby themed card with it. You can completely customize it with the baby's month, date, day of the week and time of birth! SO fun and completely original! ;)

My second card uses some of the fun papers and embellishments that come in the kit. The 3x4 cards are perfectly sized for Project Life, but I love them for card fronts. They work perfectly and look great with a little bit of embellishing.
For my card I used the maple leaf 3x4 paper (how could i not, eh?) and added the wood veneer leaves and the great Thankful sentiment stamp that comes in the stamp set. So simple but perfect this time of year. ;)

  1. I am partial to those leaves, too, eh? We wouldn't be true Canadians otherwise! Your baby announcement card is pure genius!

  2. Those are great cards Stephanie :) And it wouldn't be fall without those maple leaves falling. There are no maple trees here, so I content myself with Douglas Fir and Pine trees :)
