Kelly Purkey 2013 Holiday Release

Anyone who knows me, knows that the Potty People stencil made me giddy with excitement. Anything potty people related makes me ridiculously happy!! ;)

To celebrate the release, I created a card featuring the new Merry Bright Die and the stamp set that comes in the KP 2013 Holiday Project Kit. I wanted to go bold and bright for this one, just as the sentiment suggests! ;)

Merry Bright Card

To create the card, I adhered some Be Creative tape to a piece of cardstock and ran it through my big shot with the die. When I removed the adhesive cover to add the Grasshopper Glitter Ritz glitter, I made a point not to remove all the little circles withing the sentiment because I wanted the words to be a solid image. It took a little extra time, but it worked perfectly for the look I was going for. ;)

I finished it off with a stamped red heart covered in clear Wink of Stella glitter and glossy accents. I also added some red strips of cardstock and some text stamping with soft pool shadow ink. I wanted the text to remain subtle but still be visible and the soft pool ink works perfectly for that on the notecard.

Thanks for stopping by today!
You can see the entire KP Holiday Release here. Happy shopping!! ;)

Steph ;)
