The January kit is called 'Loved' and it is full of awesome products to help you celebrate all the loves in your life!! Lot's of pinks, reds and greys in this kit and a stamp set that is perfect for all of your Valentine's cards! ;)

Today I have a card and matching gift card envelope to share that feature the great little monster guy from the stamp set. I love him and his fun crooked front teeth! ;)

Card and Gift Card Envelope Set

I stamped the little monster guy twice on one of the pink patterned papers that comes in the kit and then cut them out. I also stamped him twice on white cardstock so I could cut out his eyes and his teeth and glue them overtop of the pink ones. I also added a bit of glitter to his tongue, teeth and eyes. ;)

I Only Have Eyes For You

For the card, I only used two of the white cut out eyes and added a googly eye for the center one. I love the playful look it gives the card. I added a strip of the grey striped patterned paper to the side and then added some sequins and Paper Pen enamel dots - Jennifer McGuire showed an awesome way to create your own enamel dots here, using the paper pens and now I'm obsessed with it! So quick and easy to do!

I completed the card with some grey shading under the monster with a copic marker and I rounded the two right corners with the 1/4" Corner Chomper.

Hello You. Be Mine?

http://www.shareasale.com/r.cfm?u=629488&b=199868&m=24698&afftrack=&urllink=www%2Esimonsaysstamp%2Ecom%2Fservlet%2Fthe%2D63895%2Fjanuary%2D2014%2Dbeloved%2Dfancy%2FDetail

For the gift card envelope, I used the same patterned paper that I used on the card to cut out the envelope with the Simon Says Stamp Gift Card Envelope Die. Then I added my monster and diecut a talk bubble for the sentiment. I stamped the Hello You and Be Mine together to create a longer sentiment and I love how it turned out! ;)
