I Love You Card

Hello and Happy Saturday!!

I have a card to share today that features the newly released Heart Parade die from the Simon Says Stamp Valentine's release.

I really like this die because there are so many different things that you can create with it, since it has both the outline piece as well as all the inside pieces. You can use them together or separate them and just use the parts you want. Love that! ;)

I Love You

Supplies:

For my card, I cut the hearts out of the same pool colour as my notecard, as well as from a piece of white cardstock.

I adhered the white negative part to a piece of acetate and then adhered all of the pool hearts onto the acetate as well. I wanted to add a little more colour, so I coloured the white hearts that came from the negative piece, with a pink Copic marker and my clear Wink of Stella glitter pen. After I adhered them, I added glossy accents just on the pink hearts and let it dry completely before assembling my card.

To complete the card, I stamped the Drawn Heart background with Soft Pool ink onto a Pool notecard and then adhered a black piece of cardstock for my heart panel to sit on. I added the heart piece with foam adhesive, so it looks like all the hearts are floating on the card.

I finished it off with the little 'I Love You' sentiment from the Labeled With Love stamp set. I love the font used for these sentiments! ;)

Thanks so much for stopping by today -
 Be back soon!

Steph ;)
